Westermann Schweiz AG brings together the expertise of the publishers Westermann Schulverlag Schweiz (WSS), SCHUBI Lernmedien and KLV. Under the Westermann Schweiz and SCHUBI brands, the company develops and distributes teaching and learning materials for all levels of education.

From early years education and primary school through to secondary education, as well as vocational training and further education at grammar school level, Westermann Schweiz supports teachers and learners with well-designed print and digital resources. In addition to its own developments, the company successfully adapts and markets teaching materials from other Westermann publishers for the Swiss education market. Working closely with Swiss authors, the company produces Swiss editions of renowned series such as ‘Diercke Weltatlas Schweiz’, ‘Hobmair Sozialwissenschaften’, ‘Anno Geschichte’, ‘Flex und Flo’ and ‘Flex und Flora’.

Innovative solutions for vocational education are provided by the teaching and learning platform ‘ABU heute’ and the accompanying workbook ‘ABU ready’ for general education at vocational colleges. The digital learning platform ‘Intensivtraining360’ is also ideal for preparing for the qualification procedure (QV) in basic commercial training. Tried-and-tested teaching materials round off the range.

The internationally successful Swiss brand SCHUBI stands for playful learning, targeted support and practical therapeutic approaches. With successful series such as SCHUBITRIX, the ‘Schreiblehrgang Deutschschweizer Basisschrift’ and ‘Anton und Zora’, a wide range of language and maths games, and tried-and-tested materials such as Abaco, SCHUBI supports teachers, therapists and learners in Switzerland, Germany and Austria – and beyond.
