The Sustainable Development Goal of ‘quality education’ is our corporate purpose. Through our products, training courses and services, we support teachers in achieving the best possible and sustainable learning outcomes across all subjects and school types. We integrate the diverse aspects of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) across all subjects into our resources and develop targeted ESD materials on specific topics. This includes the innovative magazine #WirHANDELN!, in which activists showcase examples of how pupils can get involved in sustainability themselves.

Through other products, we help pupils with learning outside school, support children in preparing for school entry, and assist therapists in implementing therapeutic support goals. We also promote democracy and peace education by supporting the Lower Saxony Peace Prize, which is awarded annually to pupils, and by carrying out various projects to improve information literacy in collaboration with the media initiative UseTheNews.

We are also committed to helping disadvantaged children: since 2019, we have been providing the Per Mertesacker Foundation in Hanover with teaching and learning materials for extracurricular project work aimed at supporting learning.
